Make a donation
The Nutrition Science Initiative funds independent research capable of reducing the economic and social burden of obesity and obesity related chronic disease. We are demanding that the quality of science in nutrition and obesity research be improved now, today. But we need your help.
Our goal is to spend 90% of every dollar raised directly on the funding of the most rigorous scientific experiments science can produce. This means for every dollar you give to NuSI you are actually moving the needle of obesity and diabetes research. Your support will make the difference.
NuSI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

By mail or check
Please make your check payable to Nutrition Science Initiative and send it to the addresses listed below. Be sure to note in the memo line if you would like your gift designated to a specific fund.
If your contribution is being made in honor of or in memory of someone special, please provide the name of the honoree and the person(s) (name and address) who should be notified of your gift. The amount of your donation will not be communicated with the person you are honoring.

Employee matching gift (matching funds)
Some corporations and small businesses will match its employees’ charitable contributions. Usually associated with corporate grantmakers, employee matching gifts often are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Some companies may also give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts. Procedures vary with each company. Typically, individuals must submit forms to their employers and acquire the EIN number of NuSI. (Which you can do by emailing info@nusi.org.)

Honorarium or memorial gift
We celebrate honorarium and memorial gifts as an incredible way to memorialize or honor someone special with a donation gift that truly makes a difference. Your confidential gift will be acknowledged with a limited edition NuSI card sent to the honoree or a family member. As the donor, you will receive a confirmation card noting your gift has been delivered. This is a tremendous way to remember someone, say thank you, or acknowledge a celebration such as a birthday or holiday.
Planned giving
